Summary

We are seeking an investment professional who is comfortable working under pressure in a dynamic, everchanging environment to join our portfolio strategist team. This person must be good with the detail and have the people skills necessary to interact with clients. The Senior Portfolio Strategist oversees the investment of trust assets. This position reports to the local Trust Manager and the Wealth Management Director of Research.

Key Responsibilities

-Coordinate all portfolio activity with the account relationship managers: Trust Officers, Financial Advisor, and Private Client Bankers.

-Trading and rebalancing portfolios consisting of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and ETFs

-Conducting bank trust department investment reviews (Reg 9 reviews)

-Develop investment rebalancing plans, including potential realized gain/loss analysis, in managing accounts to investment targets

-Generate performance reports for relationships managers

-Coordinate with 3rd party vendor to answer account related questions for clients and relationship managers.

-Meet with clients and prospects to deliver financial market updates, portfolio performance reviews, and financial planning.

-Work with clients and prospects to determine overall risk tolerance and develop appropriate asset allocations and investment policy statements

Portfolio Strategist representative to the working groups responsible for reviewing and approving Investment Risk Questionnaires and Investment Policy Statements.

Qualifications Include

-CFA charter holder, or Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Series 65, or Series 66 Required

-10 years investment management industry experience

-5 years portfolio manager or strategist experience

-Experience presenting financial market updates and portfolio performance presentations to client and prospects

-Experience trading and rebalancing portfolios of stocks, bonds, mutual funds and ETFs

-Experience using Microsoft excel for modeling

-Experience conducting investment reviews (Reg 9) in a bank trust department

-Experience trading using Advent MOXY preferred
